The data I collect via my site

I collect personal data that allows me to deliver my services via the contact forms on my site which is emailed to me at hello@amykatherine.co.uk. These data are managed fairly and securely, and may include the following data - first and last names, contact numbers, email and postal addresses. By submitting contact forms on this website, you agree for Amy of Amy Katherine Photography to contact you regarding products and services. Your data will only be stored in the email generated by the contact form. You will only be added to the mailing list if you have checked the box enabling me to this. Any requests for emails containing personal information to be removed should be emailed to hello@amykatherine.co.uk.

Via Google Analytics, I am able to track the pages you visit while on my site providing me with data of which pages are most popular. This helps me evaluate and improve my marketing and advertising.

The data I collect for my clients (including wedding guests)

Due to the nature of my work, further information related to your wedding, or any other service you have contacted me about, that better helps me provide the best service to you (as my client) will be held on file. This may include, but is not limited to: contact information, family, lifestyle and social circumstances, contracts and details of goods or services provided, religious or other beliefs of a similar nature, wedding day or event plans, and client photos.

 

Individuals featuring in photos taken by Amy Katherine Photography as part of documenting the event (including guests at weddings), are photographed in compliance with GDPR legislation by reason of legitimate interest. It would not be feasible for a wedding / event photographer to provide privacy policy information to all guests at the event. Wedding clients are contractually responsible for directing their guests to this privacy policy in advance of the event. If an individual requires protection for good reason which negates said legitimate interest, they must contact Amy Katherine Photography in advance of the event with their concerns.

Display, printing, editorial and social sharing​

I may display, print and share images to promote Amy Katherine Photography, for example (but not limited to) on my website/blog, social media, wedding or photography blogs/websites, for advertising, or magazine publications.

Second shooter (if applicable) 

I will share the necessary and relevant information with the second shooter to ensure the efficient and high quality delivery of your event photography experience. The relevant terms of my Privacy Policy will also apply to the second shooter.

Third parties

I do not sell to a third party any personal information collected via my site. I will input some required data, such as names and emails, into my gallery delivery software in order to share your images with you online, and for marketing purposes. I will use images to process orders for prints and products using external printing labs and album manufacturers.

I may share access to your personal data without your explicit consent in certain situations, for example, if required by law, in compliance with any valid legal process, government request, rule or regulation. It may also be necessary to transfer personal information overseas, for example to allow external printing labs to process your orders. Any transfers made will be in full compliance with the data protection act.

Security

Your data are only accessible by Amy Thomson of Amy Katherine Photography and only specific required data are shared with the above listed third parties. Only data supplied by clients and data of those who have signed up to my mailing list are held on file. Hard copies will be stored in my secure home office, while soft copies are stored on my password protected PC, hard drives and backups.

Changes may be made to this privacy policy. When they are, I will update the date on this policy. Customers will only be notified of significant changes. By continuing to access or use our services after those changes become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised privacy policy.
